We are excited to be hosting our launch event, on Monday 16 February, at Pizarro, 149 Bermondsey Street, near London Bridge.
Pizarro is owned and run by José Pizarro. José has lived in the UK for 16 years and in that time has worked at some of London’s most prestigious Spanish restaurants including Eyre Brothers, Gaudí and Brindisa. In June 2011, he opened his first solo venture to great critical acclaim – José, a tapas and sherry bar – his proudest moment yet. The following November he opened Pizarro restaurant, a few yards from José. Pizarro restaurant has won the Food and Travel Magazine Awards (Restaurant of the Year & Newcomer of the year, 2012) and World Food Awards (Restaurant of the Year 2012).
Here José talks about what inspires him and his career.
Four courses for £30, this also includes a pre-dinner drink. Pizarro's wine list will be available to order from. First course will be served at 6.15pm.
The dinner runs from 5.45pm - 8.30pm, but do join us for a drink at the bar afterwards!
